Silicon is the second most abundant element in the Earth's crust, Comprising 25.7% of the earth crust. Raw of silica is dark gray with impurity of blue color and having high shiny luster. It always found in association with oxygen as SiO4 (silicate ion) in silica rick rocks. These rocks can be obsidian, diorite, sandstone and granite.
